CANADOS GLADIATOR 961 SPEED

The famous Roman shipyard Cantieri Di Ostia, (Canados) has started the construction of its first hull of the 29.22-metre Canados Gladiator 961 Speed series. The yacht’s hull construction is complete, as well as piping and bulkhead are installed. She is due to be delivered to her owner in May or June 2023 and introduced to the charter market at the same period.

Her global presentation is planned at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival. She’s set to be, for now, the flagship from the Gladiator line.

The exterior design his from her builder Canados under the direction of the genius Michel Karsenti and interiors from Cristiano Gatto Design, the Italian famous design studio.

This one of kind yacht will accommodate eight guests in four luxurious staterooms as well as four crew at the impressive top speed of 52 knots per hour powered by Triple MAN V12 2000 HP

She can also be powered with :

 –      Twin MAN 2000 HP with U-Drives and propeller shafts for customers looking for speeds of around 38 knots.

–      Twin MTU 16V 2000M96L delivering 2600 HP. For the two most powerful configurations, the engines are coupled with JDM surface drives and JDM Auto-Trim and Auto-Flaps computer allowing the best electronical settings speed/fuel consumption.

Has for most of Canados construction Cristiano Gatto Design was enlisted to create  with the owner a well design interior allowing the Gladiator 961 Speed to keep power and agility. A work of goldsmith to respect weight and balance of the beast.

The result is a lightweight, modern, fresh and elegant interior.

The Gladiator 961 Speed offers an abundance of socializing areas as well as storage and amenities allowing the crew to provide a five stars service onboard.

Her large aft deck offers a lounge area for 12 guests, with direct access to a wet bar, barbecue, an ice maker and a fridge. The space also doubles down as an outdoor screening room. Inside, the main saloon is furnished with natural materials and home to twin plush sofas that offer panoramic views, thanks to being placed next to full-height windows. Forward of the saloon is where the formal dining area is located.

As per the ideology of the shipyard one client one boat, the layout of the Gladiator 961 Speed is fully customizable.

She can either be offered with three staterooms or four staterooms, the first hull from the series being constructed with the latter configuration, a full-beam master bedroom, two twin cabins located on both side and a VIP suite located at the bow.

Experienced owner, the yacht has also been customized with the help of his captain to provide the best experience possible onboard. She’ll then obviously  be equipped with all the necessary electronic assistance, such as a maneuvering joystick coupled to the transmissions, bow and stern thrusters, as well as 360- degree cameras and some super cool cameras located under the boat and displaying the drives on the main salon TV during navigation

Hull number will be based in Cannes and ready to welcome charter guests from June/July 2023
